• How do I determine the correct size for a Bracelet?

Bracelet sizes are specified as the end to end length of the item. The most accurate way to determine the correct size for a Beaded Bracelet is to measure directly at the wrist with a measuring tape. Measure at the wrist bone with the tape just touching the skin (not too tight), and then add 1/2" for a Children's Bracelet (under 6.5") or a full 1" for a Women's Bracelet. This should ensure a comfortable fit.

An optional 1/2" Extension Chain can be added to any Children's Bracelet for an extra $2.50. The extension allows the Bracelet to comfortably "grow" along with your little one and is recommend on any Child's Bracelet. If direct measuring is not possible, an approximate sizing guide is provided below.

• How should I care for my Beaded Jewelry?

The life of your Beaded Jewelry will depend on the care you provide. For best results, please follow these helpful tips:

• Never put your Beaded Jewelry in the dishwasher.
• Avoid immersing your Beaded Jewelry in water containing chlorine, salt or minerals. 
• Remove your Beaded Jewelry when applying hand cream or suntan lotion.
• Never use an ultrasonic cleaner, ammonia or any chemical solution to clean the crystals, pearls, or glass beads. Simply wipe them gently with a moist cloth until clean.
• Household cleaners contain bleach and can cause your jewelry to discolor. Avoid abrasive cleaners, detergents and commercial jewelry cleaner's "dips" especially if the pieces have an oxidized finish. Using harsh polishing cleaners will alter the antique look of your Beaded Jewelry.
• Polish Sterling Silver Jewelry components (letter beads, round beads, lobster clasps, and accent charms) regularly using a non-abrasive jewelry cleaning cloth to maintain the original condition of your jewelry. See the Jewelry Cleaning Cloth recommended by Itty Beady Creations.
• If your Sterling Silver pieces do tarnish, we recommend using a commercial product made for cleaning silver jewelry, but use caution, read the directions, and wipe with a soft cloth. However, we do not recommend using any product on silver with antiquing. It may remove the finish.

• How should I store my Beaded Jewelry?

To extend the life and beauty of your Beaded Jewelry, especially the Sterling Silver components, please follow these storage tips:

• Avoid setting your Beaded Jewelry directly onto paper, cardboard, or cotton. These items contain trace elements of sulfur which can cause the Sterling Silver components to tarnish.
• Store your Beaded Jewelry in a cool, dry place, to avoid oxidation.
• Try not to overexpose your Sterling Silver Jewelry to artificial light or sunlight. 
• Store your Beaded Jewelry in a tarnish-proof cloth or a soft pouch. An air tight plastic bag is an expensive way to store your Beaded Jewelry to avoid oxidation.
• Store each item individually.
• Do not store your Beaded Jewelry loose in drawers, as scratches could occur if pieces are allowed to rub against each other.

All Bracelets and Beaded Jewelry from Itty Beady Creations is 100% guaranteed to meet your expectations. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item within 10 (ten) days of receipt for a full refund of the purchase price.

Please contact us first before returning any item, and we will send you the return address. Return shipping charges are non-refundable. Return shipments should use the same padded envelope with which they were originally shipped.

• What is the Restringing Fee?

Please carefully read and follow the Sizing Instructions before ordering. If the stringing material used in my Beaded Jewelry is ever broken, we will gladly Restring the components for a flat fee of $8.00.  Restringing also includes Cleaning and Polishing of the components.

Any repairs or component replacements will be quoted on a case by case basis as needed. Please contact us first to arrange a Restringing Service.

• How long will it take to receive my Beaded Jewelry by FREE first-class mail?

Most orders ship from Itty Beady Creations within 3 to 5 business days. You will receive an email notice when your Beaded Jewelry order has shipped. The actual shipment time by first-class mail cannot be exactly predicted. Depending on the shipping destination's distance from Dallas, TX where Itty Beady Creations is located, orders can take anywhere from one to five days to arrive after shipment. If your need is urgent, please see the optional UPS Shipping options.

• I'm in a hurrry! How can I get my package faster?

• Will I have to pay sales tax on my jewelry order?

All Texas residents must pay sales tax when ordering Beaded Jewelry from Itty Beady Creations. The state sales tax rate for Texas residents is 8.25%. Taxes are automatically during checkout. Residents of all other states are exempted from paying any sales tax.

• Can I pay with a money order or cashier's check?

Itty Beady Creations does accept Money Orders and Cashier Checks received by mail. Please contact us first by email and specify the Beaded Jewelry design, Name, Size, Crystal and Bead Colors, and Optional Charm. We will reply with the mailing address to send your payment.
